Conference venue
Given the current Covid situation, we have decided to host AIM2021 as a virtual conference, instead of in-person in Delft. Details will follow.

Auditorium of the Aula Congress Centre at tha TU Delft Campus in Delft
Aula Congress Centre TU Delft, Delft
The congress centre is located just outside of the city centre at a mere 5 minutes from the motorway exit ‘Delft Zuid / TU Delft‘. The combination of a University of Technology, a beautiful historic town centre, great accessibility and perfect facilities makes the Aula congress centre and the nearby 3mE building ideally suited to conferences and other scientific meetings. There are many halls and rooms to choose from, from the smaller rooms to the superbly appointed Auditorium that can accommodate over 1,000 visitors comfortably. This flexibility makes the University’s Aula congress centre highly suitable for international conferences. AIM2021 participants will register at the reception desk in the large entrance hall. One level up, they are welcomed in a spacious Reception hall. All foyers and other spaces are highly conducive to pleasurable and effective informal contacts between participants. This is also the area for exhibitions and catering, with guaranteed attention for all. The Auditorium, the centre’s largest hall, meets all the highest and latest conferencing requirements, ensuring another successful AIM. Highly advanced digital audiovisual and lighting facilities, video conferencing and internet broadcast technology are all available in all rooms within Aula and 3mE building.

The City of Delft
Delft has a proven track record when it comes to academic excellence. The city not only celebrates its rich history, it is also embracing the future. Delft is a flourishing and vibrant city, both in terms of technology and culture. Its historical streets and centuries-old canals are also much loved. As you stroll through the opulent historical city centre, you find yourself back in the Dutch Golden Age. Or should we say, a Dutch Golden Age with a modern twist, with free WiFi throughout the city centre, busy squares and trendy hotels, restaurants, and bars. No wonder it is a city that is loved by both visitors and the local population (with its many internationally-oriented university graduates). This diversity makes Delft unique. Delft combines its central location, excellent transport links, modern and authentic convention venues, and 1,600 hotel rooms, Delft is clearly a very attractive destination for any convention.
